A guide to radio advertising
with Purbeck Sounds

Firstly decide whether you need a commercial or want to sponsor a programme.
For now we'll concentrate on the former.

You will need a basic script for a 30 second ad., no need to be too detailed at this stage.
Also any music and sound-effects requirements.
Decide whether you'd like us to make your advert (we have a small band of voice artists).
Our production fee starts at £50.00.

You can of course use one of the many 3rd party online services now available, but to be honest they will most likely use AI voices which do all start to sound the same!
Also we like to keep our voices representative of Purbeck / Dorset if possible.
Next, if your happy to use us, please finalise and submit your script.
We will then find suitable voices and produce the advert.
On completion we will present you a first run demo, just to see if any changes are needed

If using a 3rd party just negotiate with them directly and send us the completed advert as a 30 second .mp3 file (48khz/128Kbs please)

Note: It's normal for us to run the advert 10 times per day at the top of each hour
8am -> 6pm Monday to Friday
